Senior Developer Microsoft Dynamics 365
Role Overview
Assume end-to-end ownership of our Dynamics 365 CRM landscape, encompassing design, development, governance, and integration. You will spearhead solution architecture in the absence of a dedicated CRM architect, craft high-impact Sales and Customer Service customizations, and ensure seamless data flow between CRM, eCommerce, and ERP systems.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Governance – Translate sales, service, and marketing requirements into robust functional and technical designs; define the CRM roadmap and architectural guardrails.
D365 CRM Development – Build and extend model-driven apps, plugins, custom workflows, Power Automate flows, JavaScript, PCF controls, and .NET-based integrations within Dataverse.
D3365 CRM - Work with different stakeholders to support Marketing requirements and development (i.e. Email, Campaign, Sites Integration)
Business Partnering – Engage directly with Sales, Customer Care, and Marketing leaders, advising on best-practice configuration, security roles, and process automation.
eCommerce & ERP Alignment – Design dual-write mappings and API integrations to synchronize customer, order, and payment data across CRM, FinOps, and Shopify/commercetools storefronts.
Documentation & Standards – Produce functional specs, technical design documents, and SOPs; codify coding standards and DevOps policies for CRM deployments.
DevOps & Release Management – Manage Azure DevOps or GitLab pipelines for solution packaging, automated testing, and ALM (managed/unmanaged solutions).
Integration Leadership – Orchestrate integrations using Azure Functions, Service Bus, Logic Apps, and Boomi to maintain data fidelity across platforms.
Mentorship – Coach junior developers and analysts, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and customer-centric design.
Core Qualifications
7+ years of Dynamics 365 CRM/CE (Customer Engagement) development, covering Sales, Customer Service, and related modules.
Mastery of C#/.NET, JavaScript, Plugin/Workflow assemblies, Dataverse APIs, and Power Platform tooling.
Strong SQL Experience and Knowledge
Demonstrated architecture ownership in multi-entity, multi-currency CRM deployments.
Strong grasp of Dual-write, Azure Integration Services, and middleware patterns (Boomi, Logic Apps).
Experience with CI/CD and ALM for Dynamics 365 managed solutions via Azure DevOps or GitLab/GitHub Actions.
Fluent in English; able to articulate complex CRM concepts to U.S. and Australian stakeholders.
Willing to work mid-shift to graveyard hours for global collaboration and release windows.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have
Power Apps Portals/Power Pages or Omnichannel for Customer Service experience.
Familiarity with Shopify APIs or other eCommerce frameworks.
Certifications: MB-400 D365 Developer, MB-210 CRM Functional Consultant, or Power Platform Developer Associate.
