About the role

StaffSmart Outsourcing is seeking a talented Customer Service Representative to join our dynamic team in a full-time position based in the Bridgetowne, Pasig. This is a virtual process role that will see you primarily supporting customers across financial services, e-commerce (80% non-voice), and ride-hailing platforms. You will be working as part of our innovative outsourcing division, handling a diverse range of customer inquiries and issues with professionalism and efficiency.

Key responsibilities

  1. Respond to customer inquiries across multiple channels including email, live chat, and support ticketing systems for financial, e-commerce, and ride-hailing clients

  2. Provide accurate and timely resolutions to customer issues whilst maintaining service quality standards

  3. Handle occasional inbound voice calls when required, maintaining a professional and courteous demeanour

  4. Document customer interactions accurately using company systems and follow proper escalation procedures

  5. Identify and escalate complex issues to appropriate departments or senior team members

  6. Maintain comprehensive knowledge of product features, policies, and procedures across all assigned accounts

  7. Adhere to company guidelines, quality standards, and customer service best practices

  8. Contribute to a collaborative team environment and support colleagues in achieving team objectives

  9. Meet performance targets including response times, resolution rates, and customer satisfaction metrics


What we're looking for

  1. Proven experience in customer service, call centre operations, or a related field, preferably in financial services, e-commerce, or similar industries

  2. Strong written communication skills with the ability to compose clear, professional responses

  3. Excellent organisational and time management abilities to handle multiple customer queries simultaneously

  4. Proficiency with customer service software, ticketing systems, and digital communication tools

  5. Problem-solving mindset with the ability to think critically and provide practical solutions

  6. Patience and empathy when dealing with customers, particularly in challenging situations

  7. Ability to work independently in a virtual environment whilst remaining connected to the team

  8. Basic voice communication skills, as this role includes occasional telephone support

  9. Reliable internet connection and a quiet, professional workspace for virtual work

  10. Flexibility and adaptability to handle various customer scenarios across different platforms
