About the role

YHM CITY LIGHTING CO LTD is seeking a reliable and professional Company Driver to join our team in Valenzuela City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in our logistics and transportation operations. As a Company Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting company personnel, clients, and materials to various destinations whilst maintaining our vehicles in excellent condition. This position is essential to ensuring the smooth operation of our business and maintaining positive relationships with our stakeholders through punctual and professional service delivery.

Key responsibilities

1. Operate company vehicles safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and company driving policies

2. Transport company personnel, clients, and materials to designated locations on time and in a professional manner

3. Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, vehicle maintenance and trip logs

4. Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks including tyre pressure, oil levels, fluid levels and light functionality

5. Report any vehicle mechanical issues or damage promptly to management and arrange for necessary repairs

6. Ensure vehicles are kept clean, well-maintained and presented in a professional condition at all times

7. Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies whilst operating vehicles

8. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and management regarding schedules, delays or route changes

9. Maintain professional conduct and provide courteous service to all passengers

10. Assist with loading and unloading of cargo when required

What we're looking for

1. Valid Philippine driver's license with a clean driving record and no major traffic violations

2. Minimum of 2-3 years of professional driving experience in a commercial or corporate environment

3. Comprehensive knowledge of Metro Manila and anywhere in LUZON roads, traffic patterns and alternative routes

4. Strong understanding of vehicle maintenance and basic mechanical knowledge

5. Excellent driving skills with the ability to operate manual and automatic transmission vehicles

6. Reliability and punctuality with a commitment to meeting strict schedules

7. Professional appearance and excellent interpersonal communication skills

8. Ability to remain calm and composed in heavy traffic and challenging driving conditions

9. Full compliance with all traffic safety regulations and defensive driving practices

10. Physical fitness and the ability to perform lifting and loading tasks when necessary

11. Can drive long hours and during holidays.
