Role Overview
We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Chef de Partie (Filipino Cuisine) to join our culinary team in Gateway Mall, Cubao. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in preparing authentic Filipino dishes and is committed to maintaining exceptional food quality, consistency, and kitchen standards. This role is responsible for managing an assigned kitchen station, ensuring efficient food preparation, and supporting smooth daily kitchen operations.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and cook authentic Filipino dishes while ensuring consistency in taste, quality, and presentation.
Manage an assigned kitchen station and ensure timely preparation and service during operations.
Follow standardized recipes, portion control, and food quality standards.
Assist in monitoring inventory, proper storage, and stock rotation to minimize waste.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workstation in accordance with food safety and sanitation standards.
Support the Sous Chef and kitchen leadership in daily operations and service requirements.
Assist in training and guiding Commis Chefs and kitchen staff assigned to the station.
Ensure compliance with company policies, HACCP, and workplace health and safety regulations.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or diploma in Culinary Arts, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or a related field is an advantage.
At least 2–3 years of experience as a Chef de Partie, Demi Chef de Partie, or Line Cook specializing in Filipino cuisine.
Strong knowledge of traditional and modern Filipino cooking techniques and food presentation.
Familiarity with kitchen operations, food preparation standards, inventory control, and food safety practices.
Knowledge of HACCP principles and sanitation standards.
Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment.
Willing to work on-site in Gateway Mall, Cubao, Quezon City.
Can start as soon as possible.
