Electrician

This is a critical role that will involve the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment across various projects and client sites. As an Electrician, you will play an essential part in ensuring the safety, reliability, and efficiency of electrical installations whilst maintaining the highest standards of workmanship and compliance with all relevant electrical codes and regulations.

Key responsibilities

1. Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in compliance with building codes and safety standards

2. Conduct electrical inspections and diagnostic tests to identify faults, using appropriate testing equipment and tools

3. Troubleshoot electrical problems and implement effective solutions in a timely manner

4. Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and electrical schematics to plan and execute installation work

5. Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems to minimise downtime and ensure optimal performance

6. Install and test circuit breakers, transformers, and other electrical components

7. Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with relevant regulations and company procedures

8. Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used on each project

9. Collaborate with other tradespeople and team members to ensure seamless project completion

10. Adhere to all health and safety protocols on site and report any hazards or incidents immediately

What we're looking for

1. Valid electrical trade qualifications or certification as an Electrician, or equivalent demonstrated experience

2. Proven experience of at least 2-3 years working as an Electrician in the trades and services sector

3. Strong knowledge of electrical codes, safety standards, and best practices relevant to the Philippines

4. Proficiency in using electrical testing equipment such as multimeters, voltage testers, and insulation testers

5. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and electrical schematics accurately

6. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve electrical faults efficiently

7. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of workmanship

8. Good physical fitness and ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in various environmental conditions

9. Excellent communication and teamwork skills

10. Current driving licensce is preferred for site-based work
