TIKTOK BUSINESS DEVELOPER
We are looking for a results-driven and passionate Business Developer to focus exclusively on expanding the TikTok Shop ecosystem by identifying, recruiting, and onboarding high-potential Affiliate Creators and Live Sellers/Merchants. This role is critical for scaling our Live Commerce operations and driving sales volume on the platform through strategic creator partnerships.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Recruitment and Acquisition Strategy
· Target Identification: Develops a robust strategy for sourcing and recruiting new Live Sellers (Merchants), high-quality Affiliate Creators, and Talent Agencies focused on e-commerce.
· Pipeline Management: Builds and manage a high-volume pipeline of potential partners, leveraging internal data, market research, and external networking.
· Pitch & Negotiation: Presents the value proposition of TikTok Shop (e.g., traffic, monetization tools, commission structure) and lead the negotiation of partnership terms, including commission rates and performance agreements.
· Onboarding: Oversees the end-to-end onboarding process, ensuring new sellers and affiliates are quickly integrated, verified, and equipped with the necessary tools (e.g., Seller Center, Creator Portals).
Performance & Growth Enablement
· Growth Consulting: Provides strategic guidance to new partners on Live Content best practices, product selection, pricing, and how to effectively leverage TikTok Shop features to drive Gross Merchandise Value (GMV).
· Performance Monitoring: Sets clear performance targets (e.g., GMV, conversion rate, new buyer acquisition) and utilize data analytics to track, measure, and report on the success of recruited partners.
· Issue Resolution: Acts as the main point of contact for key recruited partners, collaborating with Operations and Product teams to resolve issues related to payment, logistics, product display, or policy compliance.
Market Analysis and Collaboration
· Trend Spotting: Stays ahead of market trends in live streaming, e-commerce, and the creator economy to identify new opportunities for seller/affiliate recruitment and partnership optimization.
· Cross-Functional Alignment: Works closely with the Creator Management team to match affiliates with relevant merchants, and with the Product team to provide feedback on necessary tooling or feature improvements for sellers and creators.
