Are you a faith-driven educator passionate about combining academic excellence with character formation? We are seeking a dedicated MS/ESL Teacher to join our onsite team!

In this dual-focused role, you will provide Middle School instruction while helping ESL students gain confidence and fluency. You will play a key role in shaping how language support and core middle school instruction are delivered, helping students transition smoothly through these critical developmental years from a Christian worldview.

📌 Quick Details

  • Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM

  • Work Setup: 100% Onsite

🎯 Key Responsibilities

  • Faith-Integrated Teaching: Teach with a biblical worldview, naturally integrating faith, ethical growth, and character formation into daily middle school lessons.

  • General MS & ESL Instruction: Plan and deliver engaging lessons and language support (listening, speaking, reading, and writing) tailored to the academic and developmental needs of middle school students (Grades 6–8).

  • Targeted Language Support: Provide individualized feedback, small-group sessions, and one-on-one support tailored to varying language proficiency levels within the middle school setting.

  • Curriculum Adaptation: Deliver standard middle school curricula while assisting in designing simple, adaptive ESL tools, scaffolded materials, and progress-tracking methods to build out our ESL system.

  • Classroom Management: Maintain a supportive, structured, and positive classroom environment tailored to the unique energetic and emotional dynamics of early adolescents.

  • Collaborative Community: Partner with other subject teachers to integrate language support across disciplines, align on middle school curriculum goals, and actively participate in school events and professional development.

💼 Job Requirements

  • Faith Alignment: Demonstrates respect for and active support of the school’s Christian worldview, fostering an environment of care, integrity, and ethical growth.

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Education, English, ESL/TESOL, or a related field (a major in Education or ESL is highly preferred).

  • Experience: 1–2 years of teaching experience, ideally working with middle school-aged students and/or ESL learners.

  • Skills: Excellent written and spoken English communication skills, strong middle school classroom management, and solid lesson-planning capabilities.

  • Key Traits: Patient, approachable, culturally sensitive, flexible, and deeply passionate about inspiring and mentoring pre-teens and teenagers.
