HR Generalist

Duties and Responsibilities

I. Recruitment and Onboarding

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment and ensure vacancies are filled within target timelines


  • Source, screen, and interview applicants using various hiring platforms


  • Coordinate interviews with department heads and conduct background checks


  • Prepare job offers, employment contracts, and onboarding requirements


  • Conduct new hire orientation and probationary evaluations


  • Facilitate employee exit clearance and turnover procedures


II. Compensation and Benefits

  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll-related documents


  • Monitor attendance, overtime, tardiness, and leave concerns


  • Coordinate government benefits, insurance, and final pay processing


  • Maintain accurate manpower and timekeeping records

III. Employee and Labor Relations

  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies


  • Handle disciplinary procedures, incident reports, and employee counseling


  • Coordinate with manpower agencies regarding concerns, disciplinary actions, and cases involving indirect employees


  • Maintain and update employee 201 files and HR documentation


  • Monitor safety, health, and company asset issuance (ID, uniforms, PPE)

IV. Training and Performance Management

  • Assist in employee development programs and retention initiatives


  • Coordinate training activities and performance evaluations


  • Prepare and submit HR reports accurately and on time

V. Other Duties

  • Perform administrative and HR-related tasks as assigned


  • Attend HR and interdepartmental meetings as required


  • Support social media hiring and recruitment campaigns

VI. Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field


  • At least 2 years of HR generalist or recruitment experience


  • Knowledgeable in Philippine labor laws and HR processes


  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally across all organizational levels


  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities effectively

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR documentation

  • Able to handle confidential information with professionalism


  • Experience in payroll coordination and employee relations is an advantage


  • Willing to work in a fast-paced environment
