WFH Social Media Coordinator
Job Overview:
Our client is seeking a creative, detail-oriented Social Media Coordinator to manage and grow their English-language social media presence. This role blends content creation, graphic design, and community engagement, specifically tailored to a U.S. audience of international students.
Schedule: Remote Full Time | Monday – Friday, 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM PST with 1 hour unpaid break.
Responsibilities:
Plan, write, and schedule posts across Instagram, Facebook, X, and Reddit using Later/Buffer and HubSpot.
Create visually consistent graphics (flyers, banners, thumbnails) using Canva and maintain a shared asset library.
Monitor DMs/comments and manage community groups on WhatsApp, Telegram, and Reddit.
Coordinate asset handoffs (thumbnails, overlays) with the video editor and internal teams.
Requirements:
1–2 years managing social media for a brand/agency (end-to-end planning, creation, and management; portfolio highly prioritized).
Strong written English for a U.S. audience, professional copywriting, and design skills using Canva, Meta Business Suite, Later/Buffer, and HubSpot.
Experience as an influencer/creator, working at an influencer agency, OR doing business development/brand outreach.
Familiarity with international student audiences and U.S. immigration-related topics is a plus.
Prior experience managing online groups or communities and experience organizing shared asset libraries with proper naming conventions is also a plus.
