RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Conduct medical consultations, assess patient conditions, establish diagnoses, formulate treatment plans, prescribe medications, and request diagnostic or laboratory examinations as medically indicated;

  2. Provide comprehensive patient care, including preventive healthcare, management of acute and chronic illnesses, follow-up consultations, and treatment of injuries and medical conditions;

  3. Promote health and wellness through patient education, counseling, disease prevention initiatives, health screenings, and immunization programs;

  4. Respond to medical emergencies and provide appropriate emergency medical care, including stabilization, resuscitation, referral, and coordination of further treatment when necessary;

  5. Deliver professional, courteous, ethical, and patient-centered healthcare services at all times, ensuring that patients are treated with dignity, empathy, respect, and professionalism;

  6. Accommodate and attend to patients within reasonable operational and clinical limits, exercise sound medical judgment in managing patient flow, and support the Company's commitment to accessible and quality healthcare services;

  7. Maintain effective and professional communication with patients, companions, clinic personnel, management representatives, and other stakeholders, and promptly address patient concerns, inquiries, and complaints;

  8. Collaborate with nurses, specialists, allied healthcare professionals, and management to ensure coordinated, efficient, and high-quality patient care;

  9. Maintain accurate, complete, and timely medical records and documentation in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, professional standards, and Company policies, including the use of Company-approved electronic medical record and telemedicine platforms, where applicable;

  10. Assist in the enrollment, encoding, processing, and completion of patient records, insurance requirements, healthcare claims, and other related administrative documentation, as applicable;

  11. Comply with all applicable healthcare laws, regulations, accreditation standards, clinical protocols, Company policies, and lawful directives issued by management;

  12. Participate in continuing professional development, training programs, quality assurance activities, clinical audits, and other initiatives aimed at improving healthcare outcomes and service delivery;

  13. Support the Company's strategic initiatives, healthcare programs, business development activities, medical missions, outreach programs, caravans, telemedicine services, and other project-based healthcare activities, including attending to an average target of One Thousand Five Hundred (1,500) patient consultations per month and participating in at least six (6) caravans per month, subject to operational requirements and scheduling considerations;

  14. Conduct oneself in a manner that upholds the reputation, integrity, and best interests of the Company and avoids any act, omission, or behavior that may adversely affect patient trust, service quality, or the Company's business operations; and

  15. Perform such other medical, administrative, and related duties as may be assigned by the Company from time to time in furtherance of its healthcare and business objectives.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree from a recognized medical school;

  • Duly licensed Physician in good standing with the Philippine Regulatory Commission (PRC);

  • Must possess all licenses, permits, accreditations, and certifications required for the lawful practice of medicine;

  • Relevant clinical experience in patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and preventive healthcare, with experience in primary care, telemedicine, outpatient practice, or the PhilHealth YAKAP Program considered an advantage;

  • Strong knowledge of medical standards, healthcare regulations, patient safety, and medical ethics;

  • Excellent clinical judgment, decision-making, and problem-solving skills;

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively coordinate with patients, healthcare teams, management, and external agencies;

  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and commitment to ethical medical practice, patient confidentiality, and patient-centered care;

  • Proficiency in electronic medical records and other healthcare technologies; and,

  • Commitment to continuous professional development and quality healthcare delivery.
