Electronics & Communication Engineer - NCR Deployment

About the Role

We are looking for a sharp, analytical, and highly proactive Post Process Engineer to join our Telecommunications Engineering team in NCR.

In this role, you will be the bridge between physical field testing and data-driven network optimization. You will ensure signal testing data is flawlessly captured, processed, and analyzed to diagnose network quality, identify drop calls, and maps out network weak spots. If you have a background in ECE and possess strong skills in drive test methodology and analytics tools, we want you on our team!

Job Roles and Responsibilities

• Signal Testing Coordination: Perform routine signal testing on-site. Ensure all field testing activities are executed strictly according to schedule, promptly escalate field issues, and thoroughly document inaccessible areas (due to renovations, ongoing maintenance, flooding, etc.).

• Log Processing & Quality Control: Process raw drive test logs. Perform initial validation checks to ensure the drive route is complete, log naming conventions are correct, and data plotting is error-free.

• Root Cause Analysis (RCA): Deep-dive into data to analyze the root causes of call event failures, dropped calls, poor network quality, and mobile data performance issues.

• Performance Reporting & Visualization: Generate detailed performance assessment reports. Create comprehensive heat maps, hotspot indicators, weak coverage area reports, and visualize metrics including BSC, NPS, and performance trends.

• Asset & Tool Management: Properly handle, maintain, and secure all specialized physical testing gear and software post-processing tools provided by the client. Ensure strict compliance that no client tools are used outside of authorized, defined activities.

Job Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electronics & Communications Engineering (ECE) or a closely related engineering field.

• Technical Skills:

  • Solid knowledge of Drive Test methodology and field operations.

  • Hands-on proficiency with Actix/Acuever and Nemo Analyze software.

  • Intermediate to advanced MS Office skills.

• Data Visualization & Automation: Highly proficient with Google Looker Studio (formerly Data Studio) and knowledgeable in basic data reporting automation.

• Field Capability: Physically capable and fully willing to conduct actual drive test activities when required.

• Analytical Mindset: Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills to decipher complex RF and network performance data.
