Internship Opportunity - IT Internship

Insular Life, the first and largest Filipino life insurance company, is inviting qualified students to join our Information Technology Group as Interns under the Center of Excellence (COE). This internship offers an opportunity to gain practical experience in project management support, business analysis, process governance, and digital transformation initiatives within a corporate environment.

Internship Details

• Open to currently enrolled college students

• Minimum of 400 internship hours

• Allowance provided

• Hybrid work arrangement (Work-from-Home and Onsite in Alabang)

Key Responsibilities

The Intern will support the Center of Excellence (COE) Project Management and Business Analysis team in monitoring and validating project artifacts throughout the project lifecycle. The role contributes to the effective implementation of process assessment and governance initiatives by helping ensure the completeness and availability of project documentation.

Specific responsibilities include:

Project Artifact Review

• Review ongoing Small, Medium, and Large/Flagship projects under Solutions Delivery.

• Verify the submission and completeness of required project artifacts across project phases and releases.

• Validate project documentation stored in Azure DevOps repositories.

Azure DevOps Monitoring and Tracking

• Assist in reviewing project work items, attachments, and repositories within Azure DevOps.

• Update monitoring trackers to reflect the status of project artifacts, including completed, missing, and work-in-progress documentation.

Collaboration and Project Support

• Coordinate with the COE Project Managers and Business Analysts regarding project updates and documentation requirements.

• Identify and report missing, incomplete, or inconsistent project artifacts for appropriate follow-up.

Communication Materials Development

• Support the development of communication materials using AI-enabled tools, including presentations, infographics, videos, reports, and other stakeholder communication materials.

• Assist in preparing visual and written content for project updates, reporting, and presentations.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Management, Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or other related programs.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Good analytical, communication, and documentation abilities.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; familiarity with project management tools is an advantage.

• Willingness to learn and contribute in a collaborative work environment.
