Marketing Communications Officer

POSITION SUMMARY

The Marketing & Brand Communications Officer is responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing marketing initiatives that strengthen SynSelect's brand presence across eCommerce platforms, social media channels, and digital marketplaces. The role focuses on product marketing, content creation, campaign execution, marketplace promotions, and brand communications that drive customer acquisition, engagement, and sales growth.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Brand & Marketing Communications

• Develop and execute marketing campaigns that enhance brand awareness and support sales objectives across Lazada, Shopee, TikTok Shop, Facebook, and other digital channels.

• Create and maintain consistent brand messaging, visual identity, and communication standards across all customer touchpoints.

• Coordinate the development of marketing materials including product listings, banners, social media content, promotional graphics, videos, advertisements, packaging inserts, catalogs, and other sales collateral.

• Collaborate with graphic designers, content creators, and external suppliers to ensure timely delivery of marketing assets.

  1. Marketplace & E-Commerce Marketing

• Plan and execute promotional campaigns for major platform events, including double-digit sales, payday campaigns, flash sales, and seasonal promotions.

• Monitor product performance, traffic, conversion rates, and campaign effectiveness across online marketplaces.

• Assist in optimizing product listings, titles, descriptions, keywords, and visual content to improve discoverability and sales performance.

• Conduct competitor and market research to identify opportunities for growth and product positioning.

  1. Content & Social Media Management

• Develop content calendars and oversee regular posting schedules across social media platforms.

• Create engaging content that highlights product benefits, educational value, and customer solutions.

• Coordinate influencer, affiliate, and creator collaborations when required.

• Monitor social media engagement and recommend strategies to improve audience growth and customer interaction.

  1. Marketing Operations & Reporting

• Prepare campaign briefs, marketing plans, presentations, and performance reports.

• Track marketing expenses and assist in budget monitoring for campaigns and promotional activities.

• Analyze campaign results and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.

• Maintain organized records of marketing assets, campaigns, and performance metrics.

  1. Other Duties

• Support product launches, trade fairs, educational exhibits, and company events.

• Assist management with special projects and strategic initiatives as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Graduate of Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Advertising, Multimedia Arts, Entrepreneurship, or related courses.

• Minimum of 2 years experience in digital marketing, eCommerce marketing, brand management, content marketing, marketplace management, or related fields.

• Experience with Lazada, Shopee, TikTok Shop, Facebook Ads, or similar platforms is highly preferred.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Filipino.

• Knowledge of digital marketing, social media marketing, and eCommerce operations.

• Understanding of SEO principles, product listing optimization, and marketplace promotions.

• Strong project management and organizational skills.

• Ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines simultaneously.

• Analytical mindset with experience interpreting sales and marketing data.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, PowerPoint, and Google Workspace.

• Basic proficiency in Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, CapCut, or similar creative tools is an advantage.
