Financial Controller – Hospitality Industry

About the Role

Destination Group is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to oversee financial operations, reporting, compliance, and internal controls across our hospitality portfolio. This role is ideal for a finance professional with strong leadership capabilities, a strategic mindset, and experience managing multi-property or multi-entity environments. Familiarity with Thai accounting practices and regulations is a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all accounting and finance functions.

• Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes.

• Prepare accurate financial statements, management reports, and forecasts.

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory requirements.

• Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and financial planning activities.

• Develop and strengthen internal controls, policies, and financial procedures.

• Coordinate audits and liaise with external auditors, banks, and government agencies.

• Support business leaders with financial analysis and strategic recommendations.

• Manage and mentor the accounting and finance team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• CPA qualification is preferred.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a Financial Controller, Finance Manager, or senior accounting role.

• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls.

• Experience in hospitality, hotels, resorts, hostels, or related industries is an advantage.

• Familiarity with Thai accounting processes, taxation, and statutory compliance is a plus.

• Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication skills in English.
