· Proven experience as a chef or cook, preferably in a private household for at least five years
· Culinary degree or its equivalent
· Knowledge of various cuisines and cooking techniques.
· Strong understanding of nutrition and dietary requirements.
Principal functions
· Plan and prepare a variety of meals on a daily basis, ensuring nutritional balance and dietary requirements are met
· Prepare appetizers, main courses, desserts, and beverages to a consistently high standard
· Maintain strict food safety and hygiene protocols in all food preparation and storage practices
· Manage kitchen equipment and ensure it is maintained in good working order
