Job Summary:

The Safety Supervisor is responsible for ensuring a safe working environment by developing, implementing, and enforcing company-wide safety policies and procedures. This critical role will provide leadership in maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements, conducting workplace risk assessments, overseeing Safety Officers' tasks and responsibilities, and promoting employee awareness of safety protocols.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive safety programs to minimize workplace accidents and injuries

  • Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments to identify and mitigate workplace hazards

  • Investigate workplace incidents and prepare detailed reports with recommendations

  • Investigate incidents and near-miss events to identify root causes and implement corrective actions

  • Provide training and guidance on safety protocols to employees and supervisors

  • Maintain accurate records of safety incidents, accidents, and Near Miss Reports

  • Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to ensure compliance with local safety regulations


Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field is desired

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in a safety-related role, preferably with a BPO or manufacturing organization

  • Must have SUPERVISOR experience - handling multiple Safety Officers

  • Knowledge of workplace safety standards and regulations (e.g., OSH guidelines)

  • Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or equivalent certification highly preferred

  • Safety certifications (e.g., OSH/BOSH, COSH) are an advantage

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to handle emergency situations effectively
