Job Overview:

The Area Sales Manager plays a crucial leadership role in overseeing and optimizing the performance of all branches within a designated geographical area. They are responsible for driving sales growth, achieving business objectives, and ensuring operational excellence across all branches. This includes leading and motivating a team of sales professionals, implementing effective sales strategies, managing key partnerships, and ensuring the overall profitability and efficiency of the assigned area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute successful sales strategies to achieve targets and drive growth.

  • Lead, coach, and motivate sales teams to achieve individual and team goals.

  • Build and nurture strong relationships with key partners (loan consultants and dealers).

  • Monitor and optimize branch performance for efficiency and customer satisfaction.

  • Identify and evaluate opportunities for strategic branch network expansion.

  • Ensure compliance with internal audit requirements and maintain zero audit findings.

  • Implement strategies to maintain high-quality loan portfolios and minimize defaults.

  • Collaborate with the collections partner to optimize recovery rates.

  • Analyze KPIs, address challenges, and optimize financial performance to achieve NIAT targets.

  • Foster a positive work environment that promotes employee engagement, development, and retention.

  • Stay informed about industry trends and adapt sales strategies accordingly.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business management, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.

  • Minimum of four (4) years of work experience in Sales, with at least two (2) years in a managerial capacity.

  • Strong technical sales skills, relevant product, and industry knowledge.

  • Strategic thinking and ability to think outside the box.

  • Excellent communication (written and oral), decision-making, problem-solving, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Persuasive, assertive, creative, innovative, adaptable, and analytical.

  • Ability to work under pressure and handle challenging situations.

  • Computer proficiency.
