Junior Quantity Surveyor

QUALIFICATIONS

• At least 3 years experience in the same role

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree, Professional License (Board Exam Passer) of Civil Engineering

• In-depth understanding of construction procedures and material and project management principles.

• Must be familiar with regulations pertaining to design and construction (Building codes, Fire codes)

• Must be familiar in construction materials both traditional and new innovations, specifications and acquisition

• Knowledgeable in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office including relevant software and tools for quantity surveying

• Outstanding communication and negotiation skills Excellent organizational and time-management skills

• A team player with leadership skills

• Proficiency in cost estimation and cost management techniques.

• Familiarity with contract administration and legal aspects of construction projects

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with extraordinary negotiation abilities

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Prepares accurate BOQ for new projects from architectural, structural, and service drawings, specifications

• Analyze and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and contracts

• Monitor and control costs throughout the project, identifying cost-saving opportunities

• Prepare monthly cost reports, forecasts, and cash flow projections for management

• Track daily accomplishment report and provide weekly summary accomplishment

• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in project control and cost management practices

• Manages multiple projects concurrently

• Performs other related tasks as may be assigned by immediate superior like site supervision
