Area Operations Manager (Visayas)

The Area Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing multiple branch operations, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and achievement of business targets. The role focuses on improving branch performance, implementing operational standards, and developing branch teams to drive overall area profitability.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor daily operations of assigned pawnshop branches.

• Ensure achievement of operational targets across lending, appraisal, redemption, and sales activities.

• Conduct regular branch visits and performance evaluations.

• Enforce company policies, internal controls, and regulatory compliance.

• Identify operational issues and implement corrective action plans.

• Provide coaching and support to branch supervisors and staff.

• Analyze branch performance reports and recommend improvements.

• Coordinate with head office departments for operational support and concerns.

• Support training initiatives and capability development of branch personnel.

• Maintain service quality and operational consistency across all branches.

Qualifications

• At least 3–5 years of experience in branch operations, retail finance, or pawnshop services.

• Prior supervisory experience in multi-branch management is required.

• Experience in pawnshop, retail banking, or financial services industry is an advantage.

• Strong leadership and team management skills with ability to coach and develop staff.

• Knowledge of operational controls, cash handling, and compliance standards.

• Training in operations management, compliance, or leadership is an advantage.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

• Willing to travel regularly to assigned branches.
