About the role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Office Clerk to join our team in Commonwealth, Quezon City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of our office. As Office Clerk, you will be responsible for managing administrative tasks, maintaining accurate records, and providing essential support to various departments. This role is fundamental to our operational efficiency and requires someone who is methodical, reliable, and committed to excellence in all tasks undertaken.
Key responsibilities
Processing and maintaining accurate financial and administrative records
Performing data entry tasks with precision and attention to detail
Assisting with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
Preparing and organising documentation, reports, and correspondence
Managing and filing invoices, receipts, and other financial documents
Responding to routine enquiries and providing administrative support to team members
Reconciling accounts and flagging discrepancies for review
Assisting with general office administration and organisation
Supporting the accounts department with month-end and year-end closing activities
Maintaining confidentiality and adhering to company policies and procedures
What we're looking for
Completed secondary education; a qualification in accounting, bookkeeping, or business administration is advantageous
Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word
Strong numeracy skills with accuracy in handling figures and financial data
Excellent organisational abilities and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Clear written and verbal communication skills in English and/or Filipino
Basic knowledge of accounting principles and general ledger functions is preferred
Trustworthy and professional attitude with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
Reliability and punctuality in attendance and task completion
