About the role
Collects pertinent vessel information relevant in the preparation of work programs with cost effective and efficient allocation and deployment of gangs and resources minimizing ship turnaround time and achieving the highest possible vessel productivity.
Key Accountabilities
Ensures the efficient day-to-day operations of the port in coordination with the team.
Responsible for coordination with Shipping line in terms of the discharging and loading plan.
Safekeeping of all pertinent documents related to vessel operations.
Assist the Planning Manager in creating standard operation procedures of the port.
Qualities, Skills and Experience
Graduate of Engineering or any four-year Business course
With experience in port operations or other related industries
With good interpersonal, communication and analytical skills
Proficient in MS Office
Must be willing to work on shifting schedule
Open to fresh graduates
