IT Specialist
Position Overview
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented IT Specialist to support our day-to-day IT operations. This role will work closely with our Senior IT Specialist Consultant, providing technical support, maintaining systems and equipment, and ensuring seamless onboarding and offboarding processes for team members. The ideal candidate has strong troubleshooting skills, excellent customer service, and experience managing multiple IT support requests in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Systems & Network Support: Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
Onboarding & Offboarding: Manage the end-to-end IT lifecycle for team members, including computer provisioning, app/system access configuration, and secure data offboarding.
Maintenance & Safety: Perform routine hardware repairs, monthly system health checks, and equipment electrical safety assessments.
Case Management: Efficiently manage and prioritize multiple support cases simultaneously, providing timely feedback and resolution.
Documentation & Training: Create clear procedural IT documentation and guide team members through step-by-step technical troubleshooting.
Tech Evaluation: Test, evaluate, and roll out new hardware and software solutions to improve operational efficiency.
Qualifications
Experience in IT support, helpdesk operations, systems administration, or a related role.
Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, networking fundamentals, and hardware troubleshooting.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
Experience with employee onboarding/offboarding processes
Familiarity with documentation creation and end-user training.
