MANAGEMENT TRAINEE
About the role
ABest Express Inc. is seeking a Management Trainee to join our retail operations team in Binan City, Laguna. This is a full-time position designed to develop future leaders within our organisation. As a Management Trainee, you will undergo comprehensive training in store management, operations, and customer service excellence, preparing you for a supervisory or management role within our growing retail network. This position offers the ideal foundation for ambitious individuals looking to build a rewarding career in retail management.
What you'll be doing
Assisting with daily store operations including opening and closing procedures
Supporting the store manager in inventory management and stock rotation activities
Training and mentoring junior staff members on company policies, procedures and customer service standards
Monitoring point-of-sale systems and ensuring accurate cash handling and reconciliation
Assisting with visual merchandising displays and maintaining store presentation standards
Conducting floor walks to ensure customer service excellence and product availability
Supporting the implementation of promotional campaigns and special events
Analysing store performance metrics and identifying areas for operational improvement
Handling customer complaints and resolving issues professionally and efficiently
Participating in ongoing training programmes to develop management competencies
What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, Commerce or related field
Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, capable of working with diverse teams
Customer service excellence with a genuine passion for delivering outstanding experiences
Leadership potential and a proactive approach to problem-solving
Proficiency in using retail management systems and point-of-sale technology
Physical ability to perform tasks such as lifting, standing and walking for extended periods
Flexibility to work retail hours, including evenings and weekends as required
Previous retail, hospitality or customer service experience is preferred
Knowledge of inventory management principles and sales analytics is advantageous
