Trucking Coordinator

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare daily truck deployment schedules based on delivery orders and client requirements.

  • Assign drivers and helpers depending on load, routing, and vehicle capacity.

  • Ensure all vehicles dispatched are properly documented (trip tickets, delivery receipts, and gate passes).

  • Monitor all trucks in transit through GPS, calls, and real-time updates.

  • Track shipment progress and ensure deliveries are completed within agreed timelines.

  • Provide proactive updates to clients and the operations team regarding arrival times or possible delays.

  • Coordinate with warehouse, dispatch, and customer service teams for loading/unloading concerns.

  • Communicate instructions clearly to drivers, including routing, safety protocols, and special client requirements.

  • Prepare daily/weekly trucking performance reports.

  • Ensure drivers comply with company safety policies and government regulations (LTO, LTFRB, and City Ordinances).

  • Report any accidents, breakdowns, or route issues immediately to management.

  • Coordinate alternate truck arrangements when necessary.

Qualifications

  • At least college level.

  • Background in trucking, shipping, or Warehouse operations.

  • Knowledgeable in routing, trucking operations, and basic vehicle types.

  • Strong coordination, communication, and multitasking skills.

  • Ability to work under pressure and handle time-sensitive operations.

  • Willing to work onsite, shifting schedules, or extended hours when required.
