MINING ENGINEER - OPERATIONS
Job Qualification/Requirements:
Must be a licensed Mining Engineer
At least 6 months of work experience (fresh graduates are welcome to apply).
Familiarity with mine planning software (e.g., Surpac, AutoCAD, Minesight) is an advantage.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
Strong technical knowledge in mining concepts, including risk management, incident investigation and management, systems development, behavioral safety, change management, hazard recognition, and OH&S.
LICENSE/S REQUIRED:
Licensed Mining Engineer
Professional Driver's License
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Report directly to the Mine/ Quarry Manager
Prepare short and long-term mining development plans (raw materials for cement processing and aggregate plants) using mining software.
Prepare the mine development and production schedules.
Monitor and update progress (conduct mine survey and coordinate with field operations).
Monitor mine costs (fuel, equipment, manpower, etc.).
Process and submission of internal and external related reports (mine plan activity updates and Government /MPSA reports).
Implement mine safety and health, and environmental regulations at all times. · Strictly observe Company policies and guidelines.
Provide any assistance that will ensure the successful completion of ACIC Raw Material Management
