Duties and Responsibilities:
· Accurately handle client payments, whether cash or card, in close coordination with the attending Sales Associate to ensure seamless sales transactions.
· Confirm the accuracy of price tags and product descriptions prior to payment processing to avoid discrepancies and ensure customer satisfaction.
· Maintain the efficient operation of the Point of Sale (POS) system and promptly coordinate with the IT department in case of system malfunctions.
· Prepare daily and monthly Cashier Transaction Reports (CTR), Official Receipt (OR) monitoring reports, and sales reports, or as needed.
· Perform daily reconciliation of cash and debit/credit card receipts, and promptly report any sales or cash control issues to the Boutique Manager or officer-in-charge.
· Liaise with banks on matters related to transactions, such as cash deposits and credit card usage issues.
· Keep up-to-date knowledge of the different bank promotions and ensure proper implementation at the point of sale.
· Facilitate the issuance of credit memos, debit memos, and exchanged item forms with strict adherence to the store policies.
· In charge of recording the daily entries on the BIR Books of Accounts and ensuring the accuracy of the details.
· Responsible for handling the change fund, petty cash, and monitoring store supplies and expenses.
· Ensure the upkeep of the counter area, including the devices and replenishment of cashiering-related supplies.
Qualifications:
· With cashiering experience in a retail setting
· At least college level, vocational graduate, or a Senior High School graduate
· Proficient in Point of Sale (POS) systems and familiar with various modes of payment (cash, card, etc.)
· Experience in using ETP POS is an advantage
· Strong communication skills and a client-centric attitude, ensuring a smooth and professional checkout experience
