Programming SHS Instructor

Job Summary

The Programming SHS Instructor is responsible for teaching Senior High School learners the fundamentals and applications of computer programming and software development. The subject focuses on developing web and application-based solutions using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and .NET technologies. Learners are guided in building programming, logical reasoning, and problem-solving skills applicable to various technology-driven industries. The course also prepares students for National Certification Level III in Programming (.NET Technology), higher education pathways, and careers in the software development and programming field.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of programming concepts and software development

• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and .NET technologies

• Excellent communication and classroom management skills

• Ability to simplify technical concepts for Senior High School learners

• Experience in teaching, training, or software/application development is an advantage

• Proficient in preparing lesson plans, coding activities, and assessments

• Passion for technology, innovation, and student development

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and learner-centered instruction in Programming

• Teach topics related to web development, application development, and programming fundamentals

• Guide students in using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and .NET technologies for creating applications

• Prepare lesson plans, coding exercises, projects, and instructional materials

• Monitor and evaluate students’ academic progress and provide timely feedback

• Encourage analytical thinking, problem-solving, and collaborative learning

• Support students in preparing for National Certification Level III in Programming (.NET Technology)

• Maintain a positive and productive classroom environment

• Participate in academic meetings, school activities, and professional development programs
