Customer Engineer - Manila Project
The Customer Engineer primarily includes attending any server and storage related issue for clients under maintenance contract with ATI. The role is also expected to perform Preventive Maintenance on a periodic or as need basis. Part of the preparation is to do training; be it formal or self-study. He or she may also be involved in a project implementation depending on his or her knowledge and skills. Accounts will be assigned under his or her care and will be responsible for whatever concerns or issues they might present.
Duties and Responsibilities
Develop and maintain installation and configuration procedures.
Attend service calls for client with MA. Identify, analyze, and resolve any issues related to systems, servers, and storage.
Resolve server/storage issues by identifying root cause and then doing immediate remedial actions.
Formulate and implement corrective and preventive actions to avoid re-occurring any issues.
Involve in project implementation. Install, setup, and configure server and storage.
Perform preventive maintenance.
Training and skills development.
Account oversight which includes parts inventory and address issue(s) and concerns.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electronics and Communications Engineering (ECE), or Computer Science/Information Technology.
With at least less than 1 year of experience.
Knowledgeable in Desktop and Network troubleshooting.
Basic knowledge in Windows Operating System and System Administration.
Basic knowledge in DELL, HP, and Lenovo server, and storage.
Fast learner and with excellent problem-solving skills.
Good organization skills and can work well under pressure and time constraints.
Flexible and willing to work beyond office hours, on weekends and holidays.
Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
Willing to learn and adapt new technologies.
Willing to accommodate out-of-town calls, honest, and dependable.
