Technical Operations Officer
Join Our Team as a Technical Operations Officer
What You’ll Be Doing:
Monitor daily shipment activities, ensuring accurate tracking of schedules, vessel movements, and loading progress.
Prepare and submit Daily Shipment Updates (DSU) to management, including laycan schedules, buyer details, destinations, ore grades, and operational status
Coordinate with third-party quality assurance superintendents, buyers, and site teams regarding vessel arrival, personnel deployment, and entry requirements
Support mine data statistics reporting and assist in consolidating operational and production data
Facilitate coordination for weekly operations and SHES meetings between head office and mine sites
Assist in the preparation of feasibility studies, environmental reports, and exploration work program data
Review and evaluate initial ore estimation reports and provide relevant technical inputs
Process and monitor billings and payment requests for third-party service providers (e.g., SGS, Intertek, Cotecna, CCIC) and maintain accurate records
Perform other related duties as may be assigned to support operational requirements
What We’re Looking For:
Bachelor’s Degree in Mining Engineering (licensed/board passer required)
At least 1 year of relevant experience in mining operations, technical operations, or related field
Strong understanding of mine operations, shipment processes, and quality assurance coordination
Proficient in data handling, reporting, and documentation
Strong analytical, coordination, and communication skills
Detail-oriented with the ability to work under tight schedules and operational pressure
Willingness to work in a dynamic mining operations environment
