DELIVERY DRIVER (SHOPPEE) - LAGUNA
Core Responsibilities
Safe Operation: Drive vehicles—such as cars, vans, or trucks—following all road safety rules, traffic laws, and company regulations.
Route Planning: Utilize GPS and navigation apps to map optimal routes, factoring in traffic, construction, and weather to ensure on-time arrivals.
Vehicle Maintenance: Perform pre- and post-trip inspections (checking oil, tires, fuel, and lights), maintain vehicle cleanliness, and coordinate necessary repairs.
Cargo/Passenger Handling: Safely load and unload goods, or assist passengers with luggage while ensuring proper security of all items in transit.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate travel logs, mileage records, delivery confirmations, and expense or fuel reports.
Customer Service: Interact professionally with clients, passengers, or delivery recipients, handling inquiries or grievances courteously.
Key Requirements & Qualifications
Valid License: An appropriate, clean, and valid driver’s license (e.g., Non-Professional, Professional, or Commercial Driver's License/CDL, depending on the vehicle class).
Experience: Typically 1+ years of proven professional driving experience.
Navigation & Tech Skills: Proficiency in using maps, GPS devices, and tracking/dispatch software.
Physical Stamina: Ability to sit for extended periods, navigate varying weather conditions, and lift or move heavy packages (often up to 50 to 70 lbs).
