Registered Chemist (Research and Development)
Job description:
Duties and Responsibilities:
1.Evaluate new raw materials for product development and possible raw material substitution.
2.Evaluate qualities of existing products and new products against competitor.
3.Revise and improve qualities of existing product whenever necessary.
4.Conduct research and formulate new products coordinating with sales and marketing team and Technical Manager.
5.Perform physical testing on liquid properties and film properties of applied new developed product.
6.Set standards for the new and existing products including the shelf life of the products.
7.Design manufacturing procedure for the new developed product to train the production personnel on efficient processing.
8.Supervises first production batch of new developed product to train the production personnel on efficient processing.
9.Prepares samples of new developed product for customer's evaluation.
10. Coordinates with sales and marketing team forany concerns with regards to new projects and samples submitted.
11.Create and revise BOM, test procedures, and specifications whenever there are changes.
