About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Machine Operator (Bound to Saudi) to join our maritime operations team on a full-time basis. This position is based in Ermita, Manila City, Metro Manila, and involves an overseas assignment to Saudi Arabia. As a Machine Operator, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and operating essential machinery and equipment aboard our vessels or at our operational facilities. This position is strategically important to our operations, as machinery maintenance and safe operation are fundamental to ensuring vessel performance, operational efficiency, and the safety of all personnel. You will be responsible for the reliable functioning of complex mechanical systems that are vital to our maritime operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Operate and monitor machinery and equipment in accordance with established procedures and safety standards

2. Perform routine maintenance tasks, including lubrication, inspections, and minor repairs to machinery systems

3. Maintain detailed logs and records of machinery operations, fuel consumption, and maintenance activities

4. Conduct pre-operation checks to ensure all equipment is functioning properly before use

5. Identify and report any machinery malfunctions, defects, or safety concerns to supervisors immediately

6. Respond promptly to emergency situations involving machinery and equipment failures

7. Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, standard operating procedures, and environmental regulations

8. Collaborate with other team members to support vessel operations and achieve operational targets

9. Participate in maintenance schedules and contribute to the overall upkeep of equipment

10. Maintain a clean and organised working environment around machinery areas

What We're Looking For

1. Proven experience as a Machine Operator, preferably in maritime, shipping, or industrial manufacturing environments

2. Strong understanding of machinery operations, mechanical systems, and basic engineering principles

3. Experience with machinery maintenance, troubleshooting, and equipment diagnostics

4. Excellent attention to detail and the ability to follow technical instructions and procedures precisely

5. Physical fitness and capability to perform demanding manual work in challenging environments

6. Strong safety awareness and a demonstrated commitment to health and safety practices

7. Ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate clearly with colleagues

8. Flexibility and adaptability to work in demanding maritime conditions

9. Valid certifications or qualifications relevant to machinery operation or maritime operations (preferred)

10. Willingness to work on international assignments, including overseas postings

11. A clean record and the ability to pass background checks and security screenings
