About the role

Select Goods is seeking a skilled Machines Operator to join our manufacturing team in Pulilan, Bulacan. This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in our production operations, ensuring efficient and safe machine operation to meet our quality and output standards. As a Machines Operator, you will be responsible for monitoring, operating, and maintaining industrial machinery whilst adhering to strict safety protocols and quality requirements. This position is integral to our manufacturing success and directly impacts our ability to deliver products to our customers on time and to specification.

Key responsibilities

1. Operate industrial machinery and production equipment in accordance with operational procedures and technical specifications

2. Monitor machine performance and product output to ensure adherence to quality standards and production targets

3. Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning, lubricating, and minor repairs to keep machinery in optimal working condition

4. Identify and troubleshoot machinery issues, reporting problems to supervisors and assisting with corrective actions

5. Conduct regular inspections of equipment and alert management to any potential safety hazards or maintenance concerns

6. Maintain accurate production records and documentation as required by company procedures

7. Comply with all health, safety, and environmental regulations relevant to machine operation

8. Assist with changeovers between production runs and adjust machine settings as directed

9. Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement by suggesting operational efficiencies and best practices

What we're looking for

1. Proven experience operating industrial machinery and production equipment in a manufacturing environment

2. Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to understand technical specifications and operational manuals

3. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high quality standards

4. Ability to work safely and responsibly, with a thorough understanding of health and safety regulations

5. Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team

6. Physical capability to perform manual tasks, lift heavy items, and stand for extended periods

7. Reliability and punctuality, with a willingness to work shifts as required by production demands

8. Problem-solving skills and the ability to respond promptly to machinery issues

9. Relevant technical certifications or formal training in machine operation would be advantageous

10. Experience with preventative maintenance and equipment troubleshooting is preferred
