About the role

Firstar Airconditioning INC is seeking a Sales Engineer for Cold Storage Systems to join our dynamic sales team. This is a full-time position based in Bacoor City, Cavite. As a Sales Engineer, you will be the critical link between our technical expertise and our clients' needs, responsible for identifying opportunities, presenting solutions, and closing deals in the cold storage systems market. This role is essential to driving revenue growth and establishing Firstar Airconditioning INC as a trusted partner in the refrigeration and cold storage industry.

Key responsibilities

1. Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the cold storage systems sector, including potential clients in food storage, pharmaceutical, and industrial applications

2. Conduct technical assessments and site surveys to understand customer requirements and recommend appropriate cold storage solutions

3. Prepare detailed technical proposals and quotations tailored to client specifications and budget constraints

4. Present product features, benefits, and technical specifications to prospective customers in a clear and compelling manner

5. Conduct product demonstrations and feasibility studies to showcase the capabilities of our cold storage systems

6. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and repeat business

7. Collaborate with the engineering and installation teams to ensure seamless project execution and customer handover

8. Provide post-sales technical support and guidance to clients on system operation and maintenance

9. Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline developments using CRM systems

10. Meet or exceed assigned sales targets and contribute to the overall growth objectives of the organisation

What we're looking for

1. Proven experience in sales engineering or technical sales, preferably within the refrigeration, HVAC, or cold storage systems industry

2. Strong technical knowledge of cold storage systems, refrigeration cycles, and climate control technologies

3. Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences

4. Demonstrated ability to identify client needs and translate them into appropriate technical solutions

5. Proficiency in preparing technical proposals, quotations, and sales documentation

6. Established track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and closing deals

7. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build lasting business relationships

8. Problem-solving mindset with the ability to address technical and commercial challenges

9. Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office applications

10. Willingness to travel to customer sites for site surveys, presentations, and demonstrations

11. Relevant tertiary qualifications in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field are highly desirable

12. Certifications in refrigeration or air conditioning systems are a plus
