Role Overview
As the Retail Shopper Marketing Manager, you will be the strategic bridge between Brand Marketing and Customer Development (Sales), transforming high-level brand strategies into tangible commercial success within the retail landscape. In this pivotal role, you will synthesize data-driven shopper insights with innovative commercial tactics to elevate our category presence. You will be responsible for steering category growth, refining assortment and placement strategies, and spearheading Joint Business Planning (JBP) with key retail partners to deliver unparalleled, seamless shopper experiences that set new standards for excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Ignite Category & Brand Growth: Mastermind and launch dynamic commercial initiatives that propel category performance and brand dominance across all retail channels, fueled by sharp analytical intelligence.
Champion Visual Excellence: Curate strategic product assortments and high-velocity planograms that resonate with specific shopper profiles and redefine visual standards in-store.
Drive Innovation & GTM Velocity: Transform creative marketing concepts into high-impact "Selling Stories" and go-to-market strategies; relentlessly track new launches to secure total distribution within the critical first 90 days.
Optimize In-Store Investment: Command and deploy category budgets with precision, maximizing ROI across brand activities and innovative in-store media to ensure every dollar works harder.
Lead Strategic JBP Collaboration: Synthesize complex shopper insights into winning retail plans; act as a lead negotiator in JBP sessions to align and execute shared growth agendas with top-tier accounts.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
Commercial Expertise: In-depth expertise in Category Management alongside a strong mastery of consumer and shopper insights.
Business & Financial Acumen: Solid business acumen with proven proficiency in commercial financial analysis and budget management.
Interpersonal & Negotiation Skills: Exceptional negotiation and influencing capabilities with a deeply rooted consumer-centric mindset; a proven track record of driving cross-functional collaboration.
