Business System Analyst

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or any related course

• With at least 2-4 years of experience in system analysis and design

• With knowledge in PowerBuilder or other program writing tools

• Detail-oriented and with good organization and coordination skills

• Ability to maintain confidentiality

• Excellent written and oral communication skills

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assists Business Units in developing project business case (Project benefits and Financial Impact)

• Identifies business requirements, cost saving measures and investment cost

• Determines completeness of applications and facilitate User Acceptance Testing

• Assists Department Head in developing, planning and execution of business system strategy.

• Evaluates project specification requirement and technical solution for approval of department head

• Monitors and evaluates new application/solution prior to deployment/implementation

• Checks and certifies that new applications are compliant with controls and security

• Monitors, validates and assesses the completion of project Business Requirement methodology, procedures and templates have been complied

• Participates in the creation, maintenance, testing, and execution of the Business Continuity Plan and Disaster Recovery plan

• Performs other related functions as directed by superior
