Accounting Intern
The Accounting Operations Intern will provide crucial support to the department through the following responsibilities and learning opportunities:
Financial & Administrative Support: Provide essential support in performing day-to-day financial and administrative tasks.
Data Integrity: Assist with data entry and meticulous filing to ensure the accuracy and completeness of all accounting records.
Hands-on Experience: Gain direct, practical experience in accounting operations and financial documentation.
Professional Development: Develop essential technical skills and cultivate professional work habits within a corporate setting.
Abilities
Capable of accurate record preparation, organization, and maintenance.
Ability to work with minimal supervision and handle confidential information responsibly.
Ability to multitask and prioritize assignments.
Skills
Basc knowledge of accounting principles (e.g., debits, credits, journal entries).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Data entry and record-keeping skills.
Analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective written and verbal communication.
Proficiency Requirements
Educational Background: Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Technical Proficiency: Basic understanding of bookkeeping & accounts receivable/payable.
Computer Literacy: Intermediate Excel Skills.
Numerical Proficiency: Accuracy in handling numbers and performing computations.
Professionalism: Strong sense of ethics, integrity, and confidentiality in financial matters.
Other Requirements
The applicant must provide official endorsement or recommendation from their college or university for the OJT/Internship program.
Willing to comply with the minimum OJT hours required by CHED or school policy.
Must adhere to all company rules, regulations, and confidentiality policies.
Can report onsite.
Ability and willingness to perform a balanced mix of clerical and accounting-related assignments.
