What is the job?

The Commodity Trader is responsible for sourcing and managing high-volume supply channels of recyclable plastic materials from US and global markets.

Responsibilities:

• Identify, onboard, and maintain relationships with suppliers.
• Build and sustain consistent monthly supply pipelines.
• Conduct daily supplier outreach via calls, emails, and LinkedIn.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and volumes for supply agreements.
• Coordinate with internal sales teams and share supply specifications.
• Track supplier activities in CRM, prepare reports, and maintain a deal-oriented approach.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, Marketing, Commerce, or related field.

• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in supply sourcing, trading, procurement, or B2B sales.

• Demonstrates strong negotiation skills and proactive outreach mindset.

• Comfortable with daily calls and deal discussions.

• Proven ability to manage multiple suppliers and deals simultaneously.
