Position Title: Delivery Rider / Driver
Department: Logistics / Operations
Reports To: Logistics Supervisor / Branch Manager
Job Summary
The Delivery Rider / Driver is responsible for the safe and timely delivery of products to customers, branches, and business partners. The role includes operating motorcycles, closed vans, and small trucks, ensuring proper handling of merchandise, and maintaining excellent customer service during deliveries.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver products accurately and on schedule to designated locations.
Safely operate motorcycles, closed vans, and small trucks in compliance with traffic laws and company policies.
Load, unload, and secure items to prevent damage during transport.
Verify delivery documents, invoices, and customer acknowledgments.
Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues.
Ensure the cleanliness and proper condition of assigned vehicles.
Assist in warehouse and logistics activities when not assigned to deliveries.
Collect payments and submit required documents when necessary.
Plan delivery routes to maximize efficiency and meet delivery schedules.
Maintain professional conduct and provide excellent customer service.
Qualifications
High School Graduate or College Level.
With proven experience as a delivery rider, driver, or logistics personnel is an advantage.
Must possess a valid Professional Driver’s License with restrictions allowing operation of motorcycles, closed vans, and small trucks.
Familiarity with local roads, routes, and traffic regulations.
Physically fit and capable of lifting and transporting products.
Honest, reliable, and trustworthy.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Willing to work flexible schedules, weekends, and holidays if required.
Requirements
Valid Professional Driver’s License with truck-driving restrictions.
Clean driving record.
Basic knowledge of vehicle troubleshooting and maintenance.
Ability to operate GPS and navigation applications.
