Warehouse Manager (Manufacturing)

Job Summary

Oversee the overall daily operations of the OCL factory warehouse. Establish and implement warehouse management systems, operating SOPs, and EHS safety standards to ensure smooth receipt, storage, and dispatch of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods. Develop and drive the achievement of core warehouse KPIs, coordinate the allocation of personnel, space, and equipment resources, lead cross-departmental collaboration to resolve operational issues, manage the warehouse team effectively, and ensure stable production material supply and on-time customer order delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Oversee daily warehouse operations, establish standardized warehousing management processes and operating procedures, drive the implementation of SOPs, conduct regular compliance inspections, ensure operations comply with company policies and EHS requirements, and coordinate internal and external system audits.

  2. Develop core warehouse KPIs (inventory accuracy rate, receiving and shipping on-time rate), break down targets and track progress, analyze deviations and drive improvements. Organize monthly cycle counts and annual physical inventories, implement the FIFO principle, and ensure consistency between physical stock and records.

  3. Reasonably plan warehouse staffing, work schedules, and job responsibilities, optimize warehouse layout and location settings, and coordinate the configuration and daily maintenance of warehouse equipment.

  4. Lead the optimization of core processes including receiving, shipping, inventory management, and RTV defective goods handling, implement and verify improvement plans, and continuously enhance operational efficiency and accuracy.

  5. Be responsible for the recruitment, training, performance appraisal, and daily management of warehouse employees, organize on-the-job skills training, correct operational deviations, and improve the overall capability of the team.

  6. Coordinate with production, procurement, logistics, and quality departments, respond quickly to and resolve collaboration issues such as material supply, shipping coordination, and RTV processing, and ensure smooth supply chain operations.

  7. Control warehouse operating costs, implement EHS safety management systems, standardize material storage and handling, and ensure warehouse security and loss prevention.

  8. Complete other tasks assigned by superiors.

Qualifications & Requirements

  1. College degree or above, major in Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related fields.

  2. Minimum 5 years of warehouse management experience in manufacturing factories.

  3. Proficient in the full process of factory warehouse operations, familiar with inbound/outbound processes, inventory counting, FIFO management, RTV processing, and on-site team management.

  4. Ability to establish and implement warehouse management systems and SOPs, and understand ISO quality management system requirements.

  5. Proficient in ERP and WMS systems, as well as Microsoft Office suite.

  6. Good team management, overall planning, and problem-solving skills, with smooth cross-departmental communication and coordination abilities.

  7. Willing to work overtime and flexible shifts during peak production periods.

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Experience in operating or implementing PDA handheld terminals, barcode scanning systems, or warehouse automation platforms (Key advantage: the company will launch a warehouse scanning automation platform soon).

  2. Experience working in factories in China.

  3. Ethnic Chinese who can communicate fluently in Chinese.
