Technical Design Associate
Position Overview
The B2B Technical Design Associate provides technical and design support to the B2B sales team by preparing accurate specifications, layouts, technical drawings, and product quotations for corporate and institutional clients. This role bridges the gap between client requirements and product/service offerings, ensuring proposals are both technically sound and commercially compelling.
Key Responsibilities
Review and interpret client project requirements, architectural plans, and technical specifications
Prepare detailed product layouts, space plans, and design renderings using CAD,SketchUp or in-house design software (if applicable)
Create accurate Bills of Materials (BOM), technical proposals, and costing documents for B2B accounts
Coordinate product configurations, customizations, and other project-specific requirements with the admin, operations and supplier management teams
Coordinate with admin, supplier management, and the operations teams to validate product availability and lead times
Support the B2B Sales Executives during client presentations and technical site visits
Support the B2B Sales Executive in reviewing and responding to RFQs (Requests for Quotation) and tender documents
Ensure all technical documentation complies with applicable standards and client specifications
Maintain a library of product specifications, catalogs, and technical data sheets
Collaborate with the Project Management and Operations Teams for project feasibility assessments
Provide post-sale technical handover documentation to the operations/installation team
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Industrial Design, or a related technical field
1–2 years of experience in a technical sales support, estimating, or design role.
Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar drafting/design software.
Open to be trained in using our in-house design tool for modular cabinet systems.
Strong attention to detail and ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
Good communication skills with the ability to present technical information to non-technical stakeholders
Familiarity with construction fit-out projects, or manufacturing is an advantage
Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines
Willingness to be trained on basic Project Management skills
Willing to travel within and outside Cebu for site visits (if needed)
Willingness to work on weekends and attend client-related PR activities
