Business Development Mananger - Contract Logistics
Job Description:
Build a strong pipeline of customers and establish Hellmann’s presence in the region.
Collaborate with internal teams to deliver world-class warehousing and distribution solutions.
Lead the end-to-end sales process and secure profitable deals.
Represent Hellmann at industry events and build strategic partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Market Development
Develop and implement comprehensive market-entry strategies.
Conduct market analysis to identify opportunities, trends, and customer needs in industries such as e-commerce, FMCG, healthcare, automotive, and retail.
Present business cases for operational investments (warehouses, automation, technology platforms).
Business Development & Sales
Identify, target, and secure new customers for contract logistics services.
Maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities, focusing on long-term partnerships.
Lead sales processes, including proposals, RFQs/RFPs, and contract negotiations.
Achieve annual sales targets and drive revenue growth.
Solution Design Collaboration
Work with operations, engineering, finance, and IT teams to develop tailored logistics solutions.
Ensure solutions incorporate best practices in automation, sustainability, and operational efficiency.
Leverage global expertise and benchmarks from regional Hellmann teams.
Relationship Management
Build and maintain relationships with customers, vendors, and regulatory authorities.
Represent Hellmann at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities.
Market Expansion & Partnership Development
Explore strategic partnerships with warehouse developers, technology providers, and transportation companies.
Identify opportunities for multi-client warehouse facilities or dedicated solutions.
Qualifications:
5 years of experience in business development, sales, or operations within contract logistics, 3PL, or supply chain solutions.
Strategic vision and proven ability to execute market-entry/growth strategies.
Strong sales expertise and track record of securing high-value contracts.
Experience in solution design with cross-functional teams.
Deep understanding of the Philippine logistics landscape.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), automation technologies, and supply chain optimization tools.
Familiarity with RFQ/RFP processes, rate card construction, and cost modeling.
Results-driven, entrepreneurial mindset.
Strong analytical skills and commercial acumen.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
