Product Management Intern

Overview

We’re looking for a proactive, resourceful Product Management Intern to support our product team over a six-month internship. This role offers hands-on experience in various aspects of product management, including requirements management, product research, validation, testing, and cross-functional coordination, contributing to the overall success of the product team.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Gather, document, and analyze business and user requirements

• Maintain and update requirement specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria

• Conduct market and user research to validate new feature ideas

• Assist in designing and executing product tests, usability studies, and pilot programs

• Collect and analyze feedback data to inform product decisions

• Work closely with designers, developers, and stakeholders to ensure alignment on scope and timelines

• Facilitate meetings, track action items, and communicate progress updates

• Help prioritize backlog items and prepare sprint planning materials

• Contribute to competitive analyses, product roadmaps, and go-to-market plans

Required Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a degree program in Business Management, Marketing, Organizational Communication, Information Technology, or a related field

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks independently

• Demonstrated resourcefulness and 'go-getter' attitude—ready to dive in and solve problems

Preferred Qualifications

• Basic familiarity with agile methodologies and product management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello)

• Prior exposure to or experience in a tech startup environment

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting

• Interest in product management and technology trends

• Experience with data analysis and feedback collection methods
