About the role
We are seeking a highly skilled Chemist to join our team at Cotabato Sugar Central Co., Inc. (CSCCI) in Matalam Cotabato. As a Chemist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and consistency of our sugar production processes. This is a full-time position that will allow you to utilise your expertise in chemistry and physics to contribute to the success of our organisation.
What you'll be doing
Conducting chemical analyses and testing to monitor the quality of raw materials, intermediates, and final products
Developing and implementing quality control procedures to maintain high standards of production
Troubleshooting and resolving issues that may arise during the manufacturing process
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimise production workflows and improve efficiency
Documenting and reporting on all laboratory activities and findings
Staying up-to-date with industry regulations and best practices in the field of chemistry and physics
What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree in Chemistry
Registered Chemist
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate records
Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders
Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and quality standards
Proficiency in using laboratory equipment and analytical software
