Airfreight Import Executive

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

·         Received the shipment’s arrival inquiry from the customers.

·         Check with the airlines on the estimated/confirmed arrival of the cargo and documents.

·         Transmission of E-manifest to the Bureau of Customs (BOC) prior to the arrival of the cargo.

·         Inform the customers or their brokers with regards to the arrival of their cargo and documents.

·         Attend to inquiries of Hellmann overseas offices and clients thru phone or e-mail in a timely manner.

·         Ensure that Key Performance Indicators (KPI) are observed at all times.

·         Prepare reports to clients and foreign agents as required. 

·         Check and ensure the data completeness of air import files.   

·         Ensure that all client requirements are properly met.

·         Performs other related functions as specified by immediate superior.

·         Maintaining contact with airlines, trucking companies and other related Service Providers.

·         Represents the company on meetings and seminars as maybe assigned.

·         Proactive response to service failures and issues.

·         Always observe, follow company policies and QHSE requirements.

·         Prepare reports and feedback as required by the Supervisor or Manager.

·         Reports incidents and hazards relevant to the working instructions.


JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

·         Minimum of 1-year experience in the international freight forwarding industry and knowledgeable in all facets of airfreight import operations.

·         Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

·         Self-motivated and disciplined with the ability to work with one’s own initiative and as part of a team.

·         Fluent in oral and written English

·         Working knowledge of MS Office (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint), CargoWise and other related programs will be an advantage.
