Duties and Responsibilities

Onsite Patient Care and Clinical Support

  • Set up and manage mobile assessment stations (e.g., vital signs, ECG, POCT) at corporate sites or community venues.

  • Perform and record high-volume vital signs, anthropometric measurements (height/weight/BMI), and vision screening efficiently to maintain smooth patient flow during onsite events.

  • Conduct electrocardiogram (ECG) testing in field settings, ensuring proper patient preparation, privacy, and timely handover of tracings for physician reading.

  • Perform rapid Point-of-Care Testing (POCT) such as blood glucose, urinalysis, pregnancy, and cholesterol screening under the supervision of the onsite medical team.

  • Assist licensed professionals in minor field procedures (e.g., wound care, first aid) when instructed during deployments.

  • Guide patients through the onsite clinical routing, ensuring comfort and safety in improvised mobile setups.

Field Infection Control, Sterilization, and Safety

  • Clean, disinfect, and sterilize medical instruments and reusable equipment according to infection control standards, preparing them for safe transit to and from deployments.

  • Maintain proper segregation, secure containment, and transport of medical and general waste generated onsite for proper disposal at the main clinic, complying with DOH and DENR regulations.

  • Monitor and record storage temperatures for temperature-sensitive supplies (e.g., POCT reagents) during transit and field operations.

  • Ensure that onsite patient care areas and mobile workstations are kept clean, orderly, and safe throughout the deployment.

Onsite Operations and Equipment Maintenance

  • Safely pack, transport, set up, and dismantle field clinical devices such as ECG machines, POCT instruments, sphygmomanometers, and weighing scales.

  • Conduct pre-deployment inventory checks, stock monitoring, and packing of medical and clinic supplies required for the specific caravan or APE.

  • Promptly troubleshoot and report any equipment concerns or maintenance needs to the Onsite Manager to prevent disruptions during field operations.

Administrative and Coordination Support

  • Accurately record health screening and POCT results on patient routing slips or designated field logbooks.

  • Coordinate seamlessly with the Onsite Medical Records Team for the proper handover of diagnostic results and patient forms.

  • Handle patient information with strict confidentiality in open, high-traffic environments, adhering to the Data Privacy Act of 2012.

Professional Conduct and Compliance

  • Observe infection control, safety, and data privacy standards at all times, adapting them to the unique challenges of mobile clinic environments.

  • Communicate with patients, corporate clients, and coworkers in a courteous, respectful, and professional manner.

  • Participate in continuing education and skills training relevant to mobile primary care and patient assistance.

General and Administrative Support

  • Perform other related duties as assigned by Management.

  • Skills and Competencies: * Proficient in taking vital signs, performing ECGs, and conducting POCT.
