The Opportunity:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Business Development Specialist to support our sales and business development team by identifying, qualifying, and nurturing potential client leads. This is a high-impact role perfect for someone who thrives on research, prospecting, and making the first meaningful connection with healthcare organizations in need of staffing solutions.

This position is remote and offers you the flexibility of working from home.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the VP of Strategic Sales Growth to develop and execute lead generation campaigns.

  • Research and identify new business opportunities through online databases, social media, cold outreach, and industry-specific directories.

  • Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads, particularly focused on skilled nursing facilities, long-term care providers, and post-acute healthcare operators.

  • Conduct outbound outreach via email, LinkedIn, and phone to introduce the client's services.

  • Use CRM tools to record activity, schedule follow-ups, and monitor engagement with prospects.

  • Support in the introduction to set appointments and meetings for the sales team with qualified leads.

  • Report weekly on key performance indicators including leads generated, conversions, and outreach effectiveness.

To succeed in this role you will need:

  • 1–3 years of experience in lead generation, sales development, and cold calling.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (verbal and written).

  • Strong research and data management skills.

  • Experience with CRM platforms

  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently in a remote environment.

  • Passion for healthcare innovation and workforce solutions.

  • Familiarity with Wound care industry is a plus but not required.

Service Fee:

Industry standards applicable to the state depending on work experience and level of expertise.

Hours:

US Eastern Standard Time (EST) – 9am to 6pm
