ELECTRICIAN

Job Summary:

The Electrician is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations of the establishment. The position ensures compliance with electrical safety standards and company policies.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures

• Inspect electrical systems and identify faults or malfunctions

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical problems promptly

• Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems and equipment

• Ensure proper operation of lighting, power systems, and electrical controls

• Read and interpret electrical diagrams, blueprints, and technical manuals

• Ensure compliance with electrical safety regulations and company standards

• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition

• Respond to electrical emergencies and maintenance requests

• Prepare maintenance reports and document completed work

• Coordinate with other maintenance personnel and departments as needed

Minimum Requirements:

• Vocational Diploma or Technical Certification in Electrical Technology or related field

• With or without experience as an electrician or maintenance personnel

• Basic knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and troubleshooting

• Familiarity with electrical safety standards and procedures

• Physically fit and capable of performing manual work

• Ability to read and understand technical instructions and diagrams

• Responsible, dependable, and detail-oriented

• Can work under pressure and with minimal supervision

• Willing to work flexible schedules or respond to emergency repairs when necessary

Preferred Qualifications:

• Licensed Electrician is an advantage

• Experience in commercial, hotel, or building maintenance is an advantage

• Knowledge in preventive maintenance and electrical controls is an advantage
