Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Accounts Officer to join our Finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing daily financial transactions, ensuring accurate and timely processing of payments, reconciling accounts, and supporting accounting functions across multiple regions (AUS, USA, NZ, EU & UK). This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Apply customer invoice payments daily through Stripe, PayPal, and bank platforms.
- Process webstore orders for credit card payments
- Provide support to Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) Officers.
- Handle daily processing of vendor invoices using Dokka.
- Manage vendor bill payment processing.
- Reconcile clearing accounts for AUS, USA, NZ, EU & UK.
- Record depreciation and prepayments.
- Process HOZ chargebacks.
- Prepare monthly Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) reports for utilities.
- Record and consolidate monthly credit card entries.
- Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations for subsidiaries.
- Assist in the annual audit process.
- Maintain and implement accounting systems and control procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Business Studies, Administration, Management, or a related field.
- 1–2 years of experience in accounting and administrative support.
- Familiarity with Netsuite and other financial software platforms.
- Strong ability to engage with both management and non-management staff, including international teams.
