Accounting Manager

The Accounting Manager is responsible for general ledger management, account reconciliation, cash receipts processing, depreciation and accruals, investment accounting, restricted asset releases, A/R collections, and preliminary monthly accounting cycle closing.

Basic Functions:

• Supervises the assistant accountant in the preparation of financial statements.
• Determines that the schedules of accounts are prepared and checks the accuracy of the same.
• Prepares regular journal vouchers and determines that monthly accruals and amortization were properly monitored.
• Prepares justification of accounts with unfavorable variance.
• Determines if students' adjustments for the month were taken up both by Assessment Section.
